Sajjangarh Palace, also known as “Monsoon Palace”, is a beautiful and historical palace situated on the Aravalli Hills in Udaipur, Rajasthan. This palace was built by Maharana Sajjan Singh in the 19th century, and was used to observe the weather and keep an eye on Mewar during the monsoon season. This palace offers a wonderful view of Udaipur city, Fatehsagar Lake and the beautiful valleys around.

Best time to visit:

It is best to visit Sajjangarh Palace during the day, especially in the morning and evening, as the temperature is favorable at this time and the views of the palace look amazing in the sunlight. The view here is very attractive at sunrise in the evening, which is especially liked by the tourists.

For vehicles (if available): There may be an additional charge

The palace complex also has a wildlife sanctuary where a variety of wildlife like chital, sambar, wild boar and nilgai can be seen
