History of Jag Mandir
Jag Mandir was initially constructed by Maharana Karan Singh and later completed by Maharana Jagat Singh I. It served as a refuge for Mughal Prince Khurram (later Emperor Shah Jahan) during his conflict with his father, Emperor Jahangir. The palace is believed to have inspired Shah Jahan’s design of the Taj Mahal.
