Ekling Ji Temple
Eklingji Temple Eklingji Temple is a major religious place in Udaipur, located on NH-8, about 22 km from the city. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, worshipped in the form of Eklingnath. It was built in the 8th century by King Bappa Rawal of Mewar, and was improved and rebuilt several times after that.
Features of the temple:- The amazing craftsmanship and beautiful marble work of the Eklingji temple is worth seeing.
– Inside the temple is a Chaturmukhi idol of Lord Shiva, which is 50 feet high.
– Lord Shiva is worshipped in the form of Eklingnath, and his four faces are in different directions, symbolizing Shiva, Brahma, Vishnu and Surya.
Darshan Timings:- *Monday (Somvar):* There is a huge crowd in the temple, and there is a special celebration for Shiva devotees on this day.

Nathdwara
Nathdwara is a famous pilgrimage site located in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, where there is a temple of Shrinathji. Shrinathji is a form of Lord Krishna and here he is worshipped as Balkrishna. Special tableaux are set up in the temple for the darshan of Shrinathji at different times throughout the day. The timings for Darshan are as follows:

Haldi Ghati
Haldighati is a historical place located in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, which is famous for its stories of valor and sacrifice. This place is mainly known for the famous Haldighati war fought in 1576 between the armies of Maharana Pratap and the Mughal emperor Akbar. This place is located between the Aravalli mountain range and the color of the soil here is yellow like turmeric, which gave it the name ‘Haldighati’.

1. Haldighati War Memorial – This memorial is dedicated to Maharana Pratap and his faithful horse Chetak, who was martyred in this war. Here you can see the depiction of the battle scene of that time.

3. Chetak Samadhi – Chetak, who was Maharana Pratap’s loyal horse, took his master to a safe place even after being injured during the war and attained martyrdom there. This samadhi has been built in memory of Chetak’s bravery.

5. Rakt Talai– This is the place where the major part of the Haldighati war was fought. This place is of historical importance and tourists can refresh the memory of that war here.
